Mr. David Lamdan comes to FIN after an extensive career as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where he focused primarily on counterterrorism matters. Mr. Lamdan has spent much of his career deployed internationally. He is an Arabic speaker, and in 2016 served as the Bureau’s Assistant Attaché in Baghdad. Mr. Lamdan led an effort overseas which resulted in the safe return of several kidnapped Americans. He has also worked on combatting illicit finance linked to money exchange networks, and has an anti-money laundering background. Prior to entering civilian government service, Mr. Lamdan worked as a Staff Attorney/Advisor in the financial services industry focusing on estate and other tax/investment planning matters.
Mr. Lamdan is a graduate of Hofstra University, with a degree in history with a minor in economics, Tulane University Law School, and a member of the New York State Bar. Mr. Lamdan also served as an officer in the United States Army and was awarded the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.
